The following criteria is required
by the National Association of REALTORS® for all applicants:
The
Six Point Membership Criteria of the National Association of REALTORS®:
- Applicant must hold a valid real estate license, and be
actively engaged in the Real Estate business and its recognized branches.
- Applicant must be employed by a Designated REALTOR®, or
affiliated with
A Designated REALTOR® as an independent contractor.
- Applicant must make written application for REALTOR®
membership in the
Association.
- Applicant must signify intention to abide by the National
Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.
- Applicant must signify intention to abide by the
Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the local Association, the State
Association and the National Association.
- Applicant must complete the Association New Member
Orientation Course within 120 days of application or membership may be terminated.
